Cheryl's Story
My daughters Cathleen and Michael are 50 and 45 respectively. Cathleen lives in Phoenix AZ with her husband and has been married for 20 years. Michael has a 22 year old step-son and is very involved with him. Grandchildren 1 and 1 on the way.
I had knee surgery in 2k9 and have continued teaching because i loved it so much. I have had a stroke, so i don't teach anymore due to aphasia. I was requested on a regular basis by teachers and students alike by a school in the south Seattle area.
The rest of the time i travel to Hawaii, I went on a Zydeco cruise in November to the Caribbean, my 21st and the cruise was cancelled for 2011 (due to covid) but will resum...Expand for more
e 2012 (little did we know that my illness left me getting my life back to where it had been prior to my stroke with the UW and speech, and occ. therapies). I have to do young ones puzzles too. I'm branching out tho to more difficult ones!
I have been to Viet Nam for Tet in 2011 for 25 days and am presently writing a childrens book (a huge task) about my time there (I teach many VN kids).

I go to visit my Phoenix daughter yearly at Thanksgiving. My daughter Michael, lives with me, and spends her days taking care of rescue ferrets, keeping them healthy longer.
I spend my days relaxing, reading, and playing on my new kindle.
