Cheryl's Story
Life
Following high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, majoring in Nursing. I was married in 1975. I worked as a nurse for three years, then began working as a nurse administrator, first at Osseo Hospital, and later at Buffalo Medical Center in Mondovi. I started graduate school in 1982, and received my Master's degree in 1986. My two daughters, Dana, born in 1980 and Heather, born in 1983, completed my family.

akes software for hospitals and health networks. My husband works as a retail hardware manager. My hobbies include genealogy, scrapbooking and music. I play the harp, piano and sing in two choirs.
Workplace
After graduating from college in 1976, I worked as a staff nurse for three years, and then became a nurse administrator. I worked in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Washington state for eighteen years in nursing administration. In 1998, I changed careers and became a software trainer, teaching healthcare workers how to use the IDX health information system. In May, 2004, I became a health care consultant with CTG, an international information systems consulting firm.
