Cheryl's Story
After high school I took a couple of courses at PG Community College but never really pursued a degree. I went marriage/baby route instead and ended up working for a labor organization at their International Headquarters in DC. The only thing I knew I did NOT want to do when I grew up was be a secretary - but here I've been for the past 27 1/2 years. It's been a great job and I actually came to love it. yed together for about 5 1/2 years - had 2 great kids! All these years later, I am the proud grandmother of two girls and two boys (youngest was born on my birthday!). I've been blessed to travel and see a lot of the country, including Hawaii and several other states, much of the Caribbean and a little of Canada. Never thought I'd get to see and do the things I've done! The older I get, the better life seems!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Percy Givens, because I owe him an apology.
