Cheryl's Story
After leaving Keene I earned a B.S. in nursing at Loma Linda Univ. where I met my husband Don, a physical therapist from PA. After graduating we moved to West Virginia where we worked in health care for around 12 years during which time we had two sons, Jeremy and Aaron and built our own log framed house on 67 acres of mountain land. Our very small, underfunded church conference needed assistance with various things so, long story short, our volunteer church ministries have now turned into full time career changes. teacher of a small K-12 program along with serving as the acting conference superintendent of schools. No time to be bored. I am working on my masters in educational administration. I love education and the challenges of trying to keep a parochial school afloat in a rural area with not a lot of high income folks around. The Lord has blessed and our school is growing. We invite you to call us if you are ever in north central WV. Beautiful skiing, hiking, canoing, rock climbing, etc. in our area. Oh, and by the way, I am a grandma--one adorable grandson.
