Cheryl's Story
Life
After MCHS, I did a little bit of college now and then. It didn't really stick.
Then I tried several different careers until I finally landed at Northwestern Mutual and loved it! I worked there for 2.5 years, then left after I married my husband.
I have been married since 9/2001 and we have 3 great sons. I am a stay-at-home Mom and I love it! I will start working at the pre-school in the Fall of '07, very part-time. My husband is part owner in a trucking company, and drives a truck also. He only does local driving, so he is home every night.
We live on 56 acres in northern Macomb County, about half is ...Expand for more
farmland and the other half is wooded.
I guess that's about it right now. If I think of anything more interesting, I'll post more.
I am now considering going back to college to pursue a degree in Early Childhood Education. It should prove interesting. Stay tuned for updates.
I started back at MCC in 1/08, taking 2 ECE classes and I love it! I'm doing very well, 4.0 in both classes. I've just applied to UofM-Dearborn to complete my degree and am waiting to hear on my acceptance. It will be a long drive, but there really aren't many choices in MI for an ECE Bachelor's Degree. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
