Well...where to start?! I am living in the Anza Borrego Desert of San Diego County. We have a Julian zip code, but there are no apple trees here baby. I love being able to see all the stars and even the Milky Way almost every night. Do you hear the word, "but" coming now. Here it is. But, it is up to 112 in the summer and has gotten to 7 degrees in the winter. I guess I always liked the extremes, but this is ridiculous at times. How did I get here? I married a guy named Joe who is a wildlife specialist. He needs to be out in this area to handle wildlife problems. He has tracked mountain lions who attack, coyotes that bite, and many other animals that have negative interactions with humans. Needless to say, I have become a hunter myself. I have done some pretty fine shooting of turkey and now will try deer hunting in the future. I have 3 children. Two boys from my first marriage: Josh(16) and Kennan(11).
