Cheryl's Story

New Post: March 2009 As of this posting I've been married 29 years come Sept. to the same man. He's retired after 20 years in the Air Force. He did a variety of jobs after that but is now medically retired, unable to work according to the VA. We have one child, a 27 year old daughter. She's getting married June 13 in Gray at the Congregational Church, just like her parents and grandparents. She received her undergraduate degree in English from Boston University. She's currently working on her Master's Degree in Information Technology with an emphisis on Library Science at the University of Texas, Austin. Her fiance has both his undergraduate and Master Degrees in something to do with computers from Boston University. I lived in Texas for seven years, loving every minute of it. five years I did that in SAD15. I'll only have to take the education classes because I have all the other classes. I was halfway to my Bachelor's Degree when I decided I wanted to change schools. I now know what I want to do when I grow up. I would like to see Emily Thompson again if anyone knows where she is. I would also like to get back in contact with Jane Berry. Please let me know if you know where they are or let them know I'd like to hear from them. I'm in the phone book in Auburn or they can get me through my parents who are in New Gloucester. High school was rough on me. I was different. I have since been diagnosed, as an adult, as having Asperger's Syndrome and being Bipolar. It wasn't my fault I was different, and these days I'd get help. It was also nobody else's fault I was that way. I understand it was hard to deal with someone that different. I wish you could have all found another way to deal with it other than torment me, but kids will be kids. I welcome hearing from anyone. The past is the past after all.
