Cheryl's Story
Life
After High School I went to work at Boeings where I was the Document Cordinator on the SST in the Engineering Vault at the Renton plant. I got married and had one child, a son, who is now married and living with his wife in the Everett area. After divorcing I went to college and got my degree in Law Enforcement/Corrections. I went to work for King County Police in the Crime Analysis Unit and also worked with the "GreenRiver Task Force".
I decided to follow a life long dream to get back to my "roots" and move to Central Oregon where I could be closer to my family's 5,000 acre working cattle ranch that my Dad grew up on and has been in the family since 1911. I purchased a beautiful log house on acreage and a purebred Quarterhorse filly/mare whom I enjoyed riding throughout Oregon on trail rides (Pacific Crest Trail-packed in for two weeks), on cattle roundups at the ranch and cross country cattle drives. I have a lot ...Expand for more
of family members (on my Dad's side) who are involved with Rodeos and have gone on to win many Championships so I was always attending many rodeos to cheer them on--now their kids are the newest crop of "cowboys/cowgirls" entering the rodeo circuit.
I worked as secretary for a housing construction company here in Central Oregon but am now retired and enjoying every minute of it!! I have traveled to Europe, Africa and Mexico. Whenever I need some R & R I travel south of the border to my condo in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
I have been married and divorced twice--and have no intention of trying either again---I'm throughly enjoying life doing what I want to do when I want to do it!!
