LIFE: APRIL 2009 Hello everyone! I am still living in Las Vegas, Nevada. I remarried my ex-husband, Michael Keaton, in September 2008. There are many days when I wonder why we remarried...some things never change. But, we just keep living our separate - yet together - lives and it seems to work for us. All that really matters is that our daughter is happy. Speaking of which...Sarah is now 12 years old (13 in October) and in the 6th grade! I look at her daily and I am reminded of how blessed I am to have such a wonderful daughter! She has remained on the A/B Honor Roll since kindergarten. She plays Volleyball, is active in the young women's group at church and loves to scrapbook! She started learning to play the guitar in January 2009 and has picked it up very quickly. She loves to play "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas and surprised me on my birthday by playing "Happy Birthday"! She is an awesome kid. I am between jobs right now (due to our wonderful economy slowing down). I managed to receive the maximum Unemployment from the State of Nevada. Although it's no where near what I was making as a bookkeeper it is something so, I am not too worried. I think I might feel differently if Mike wasn't working steady...He is actually working (60) hours a week, still as a Union Ironworker. He has always been a wonderful provider and a great daddy! SEPTEMBER 2008: Time for another update... I have been divorced since May 2007. My ex-husband, Michael and I are living together but, have decided not to say "I do" anytime soon. My family thinks we are living in sin but, hey...it works for us and it makes Sarah happy to have BOTH of her parents at home. My Sarah Ann started 6th grade in August! Where did the time go! I don't feel old enough to have a child in middle school. (Holy crap...to think of the things I was doing in middle school!!!! YIKES!) Sarah is the light of my life! She is an honor roll student and loves doing anything she can with her friends! She makes me happy and loves to cook and scrapbook with me. She and I have an awesome relationship, but I'm always a "mom" first. She is a great kid. I love Las Vegas! There are (3) miserable months of summer but, the rest of the year is awesome! It's nice to have my family (parents, sisters and brother) here in Las Vegas. We get together often and I don't know what I would do without them. I am still working at Automatic Door & Glass. I love working with Caecie, my sister. She is my rock and my best friend. We are trying to plan a trip to Disneyland in November/December. It will be nice to get away and have some fun.
