I have had a wide range of experiences, starting with in 1974 almost being run over by President Ford's motorcade in Washington D.C. A few blocks down the road his motorcade did run into a car at an intersection. All that happened the day before I interviewed for a White House Page job and unexpectedly met him in person. Later I made a speech at the FFA convention in Kansas City just before President Ford spoke. No he did not trip going up the stairs. I have been to concerts with The 5th Dimension, The Four Tops, Three Dog Night, Cher, Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, and Michael McDonald, to name a few. I have been to a couple of live stage productions of The Odd Couple in the late 70's and Wicked in 2008. By the way, I was surprised how much I liked Wicked. In 1995, I sold my part of a company I co-owned. As a transition to a "new start" and after my kids said I was "chicken" and wouldn't do it, I bungee jumped. Needless to say, they were surprised.
