Chip's Story
After Morningside, it was Miami Edison Jr & Sr High School, Shield and cookware sales, followed by University of Florida, cum laude, and University of Miami Law School, all while working. After law school grad, I headed west to San Francisco and practiced until 1980, when I returned to Miami and two years later, opened my own law firm, fell for my love, Linda and in 1984 married. Somehow, we raised four beautiful kids and helped them through higher education out west. My professional world was commercial, emphasizing all phases of commercial real estate, including development. We have been very fortunate. I recently wound it all up and retired.

umbia river, as stimulating and crazy as when we had him in 6th grade at Morningside; discovering that my 95 lb Great Dane RoxAnne ate and then (after my roommate fed her 6 bars of ExLax) relieved herself of my late pop's watch -- and it's still ticking!; saying hi to Mt Everest; seeing my hero Allan Meyer in Russell, NZ; letting a hammerhead scare me half to death in the Keys and seeing Palankar Reef at 20knots in 110 feet of crystal liquid in Cozumel; going sideways poorly in a succession of red sports cars; eating dim sum in Hong Kong and pasta in Bellagio; and watching my kids create grandkids and exceed our dreams for them. Those of us who attended Morningside were one lucky bunch and as I learn how you have all have shinned on, I can't help but smile and throw my best well wishes for you to catch.
