Chris's Story
Chris is from Tyler, Texas, and has lived in Abilene, Texas since 1980. He is married to Theresa who owns Theresa's Treasures and Ladybugs & Sunshine. Together they have one daughter, Dawn, who works as his receptionist. His schools include Ada High School, Tyler Jr. College, and a BS in Biology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He later attended Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, where he graduated in 1979 with his D.P.M. degree (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. He did his Residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, finishing in 1980, at which time he began private practice in Abilene. He subsequently created and owns Abilene Family Foot Center.
Chris' interests include guns and shooting, and he has a CHL (Concealed Handgun License). He proudly open carries a Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm pistol in a belt holster everywhere that is currently legal in Texas. He does practice target shooting every 3-4 weeks.
Chris' other interests include computers and IT training classes, writing political e-mails and blogs, reading, pooling around, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and watching old TV shows such as MASH, Hogan's Heroes, Andy Griffith, Columbo, and Svengoolie.
