Life Hi folks! I truly graduated from Marlette High school..just put down Watervliet since I'm looking for my old friend (not that SHE is old!!! LOL!)..just a friend from College yester years-Diane Sinsabaugh-who used to live in Watervliet-if anyone knows her whereabouts, please let me know..lost track of her after she moved to Georgia! Anyhow..after graduating from Ferris State in 1980, my engagement to Dave Nicholson was broke off 10 days before the wedding...without knowing the direction in my life and having moved in to our apt already ..in Grand Rapids, MI, I packed things back up, stayed at home with my folks for one month and then took off for Saginaw MI and ended up there from 1980 to 1990. During that time, I owned my own styling salon, met a man, married him 3 years later, had a beautiful daughter named Emily in 1986 who is now a jr. in Spring Arbor University and ended up divorced (unfortunately) in 1988. He had alcohol / other problems and was a nice man who needed God desparately and couldn't see it. At any rate, I moved back to help mom and dad out in the insurance agency ... In 1995, I met the man of my dreams..was a blind date set up by my brother and sis in law..they knew him through their church..we went out one night and it was amazing! It was as though he had lived my life and vice versa!!! We had so many parallels in our lives...well, after many long conversations (4-5-6-7 hour conversations on the phone calls) and not much time actually together but as much as we could possibly fit in (he had two boys from a previous marriage and the kids were all one year apart!), within 5 1/2 months, we were married.
