Chris's Story
Well I tried retirement for awhile (2o+ years with an oil company), but decided it just wasn't for me. I decided to go back to my first love...teaching, and taught kindergarten of all things! I tried to retire again, but it didn't last long, and I was asked to come back to work with our special needs kids. I was planning to move to San Antonio to be closer to my son, but he has just moved back to Beaumont where I've lived for about 30 years or so. I'm hoping to travel more ...Expand for more
in the next few years, returning to one of my favorite place, Ireland, and also want to go to Scotland. I traveled so much during my work years with the oil company and got to go many places, but never had time to enjoy them. I'd like to return to places like San Francisco, Miami, Charleston, and Toronto, but until then I will continue to do a lot of reading, riding my bike and hoping the Astros can turn it around one of these days! (Well they sure did...World Series Champs!!)
