Born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y. C.Blanco has dealt with many different struggles, from not having a father involved in much of his life to growing up in one of the roughest areas in the Bronx. Early in his life he was interested in music, he began playing the trumpet at the age of eleven years old, His interest for music grew into a passion. At the age of fourteen he joined a Drum and Bugle Corps, the Kips Bay Knight Club. He competed in several competitions all over the east coast. Blanco also attended Talent Unlimited High School in NYC and continued to study music. In high school Blanco was introduced to music composition and began singing with friends from the chorus program, he noticed a potential in his voice and became interested in singing. he wishes of his mother, Blanco moved back to New York and moved into his Fathers' home in Queens. Blanco Began looking for ways to make money, he received no offers. Blanco then fell into the streets from which his mother tried to save him. Through the stress that came with his new found lifestyle, he found an escape through music. Blanco began recording hooks for local artists. Blanco then formed Dream But Donât Sleep Ent. A camp of rappers, singers, producers and engineers. The camp began performing at a local club in Harlem. Differences among the members broke the crew up and everyone went their separate ways. Blanco moved back to Florida where he is now pursuing the dream he always had, opening a record label and recording an album. Blanco is a diverse artist with influences from a wide variety of artists. Arturo Sandoval, Michel Camilo, Marvin Gaye, Gladis Knight, Boys II Men, Jadakiss, Method Man, Nas and Jay-z (just to name a few). His stlye is like no other RnB artist, his verses are sixteen bars instead of the normal eight bars and send a message to the listener. His music can be accepted from people from all walks of life.
