Life

Married in '75, 2 incredibly handsome sons-- Keri, 20, is working at MBNA here in Dover, DE, and Christian, 26, lives in L.A., working as an optician by day and working on short films for Channel101.com by night. Taught French at St. Mary's Hall in San Antonio for 8 years, moved to Delaware in 89. Divorced in 90 (should have happened 12 yrs. before that!), remarried '92. I met Mike when he cast me in a community theater production. He's webmaster for the Dept. of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. My real job is Chief of Creative Services for Delaware State Parks, which I've been doing for 13 years -- very creative, with a bunch of wacky coworkers (we refer to ourselves as The Island of Misfit Toys, since the rest of the department is decidedly stolid). lves around the theater - Mike acts, directs, works crew and does lights and sound, and I act, direct, design sets, do makeup, and anything else that needs to be done except lights, sound and producing. My favorite theater moments: directing Compleat Works of Wm Shakespeare (Abridged), playing bitchy prima donna Mildred in Faith County II (I adore physical comedy!), and serving as consulting director for Camping With Henry and Tom. We've got a "real" (read "paid") actress in the family, too: Mike's sister is Teri Polo (Meet The Parents, among many others. When we're not at the theater, we take every chance we get to go to our cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania, where we spend our time cooking over an outdoor fire and watching for bears, bobcats and other assorted wildlife and, in the winter, sledding and snowboarding (son Keri does the latter, I know my limitations).
