Chris's Story
I graduated from Duke undergrad and Michigan Law, practiced law in NYC, served 3 years in the Navy and then practiced law in Atlanta for 37 years (firm has over 2500 lawyers with offices all around the world). I retired in Jan 07. Our year is split between Ponte Vedra Beach, FL for 7 months, and in Cashiers, NC (western NC mountains) for the other 5 months. My interests are reading, running, working out with weights, playing tennis and volunteering. and autoclave machines and developing x-rays), at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville (information desk and transporting patients in wheelchairs)and as an auxiliary policeman in Jacksonville Beach (drive a patrol car once a week, usually at night-lots of bars and related activity in Jax Beach at night!!). Cynthia and I have been married almost 46 years. We have 1 daughter and 4 grandchildren (girl, age 17 and boys ages 9, 10 and 12). They live with our son-in-law in Fayetteville, NC, where he is in Special Operations at the Army Warfare Center at Fort Bragg.
