Chris's Story
Life
I left Massachusetts in 1981 and moved to California. I finished High School at La Sierra Academy. After Academy, I went to La Sierra University and got my B.S in Health Science/Pre-Med. For some reason, I ended up with two minors: Psychology and Business. While in collage, I met my wife Kim. She had just moved from Hawaii to start the nursing program at Loma Linda. Her cousin dared her to ask me for a date. She accepted the dare and weÂve been together since 1983. I skipped Med School and got a MasterÂs degree in Public Health from Loma Linda University. e team at WellPoint in 1996. We moved to Camarillo, CA that year and have been here since. After leaving WellPoint, I did a two-year stint as the CEO of Fundraising Auctions International and am now back in health care administration with Catholic Health Care West.
We have two great kids: Alex and Elizabeth. We couldnÂt be prouder parents. Both kids are excellent students, athletic, and involved in our church. Alex is an honor roll student, who plays football (two undefeated seasons), basketball, and races motorcross. Elizabeth is a total brain. She has made national honor roll two years running. She seems headed for valedictorian.
