Chris's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met my wife while I was in college. We were married within 6 months and have now been married for almost 18 years (since 1990) with 2 wonderful children - both boys ages 14 and 16.
My Kids
Christopher, 16, is very smart, makes excellent grades in school and is enrolled mostly in advanced courses. He loves to read, play video games, work on his computer, and is now heavily into paintball. He's starting to drive now - scary! I guess I'm getting old ;-)
Jordan, 14, is the opposite of Christopher. Jordan likes to play any and all sports, but hates to sit still and learn. Anything to do with the water is his favorite. He's also very smart, makes the A honor roll and such in school, but he would prefer a good roll in the dirt any day. He has also gotten really into paintball recently and both my kids bought me my own paintball marker (gun) for Father's Day so we could all shoot each other - what fun!
My Pets
I have 2 Siberian Huskies. Tucker who is 8 year old and Neo who is 7. I also have 2 cats who we've had for about 13 years - Lucy and Samantha (Sammy). Lucy is my son Chr...Expand for more
istopher's cat. She sleeps with Christopher and is usually very skiddish around others. Sammy loves everyone and wants to be the center of attention every moment.
My Career
In 2002 I started my own computer and software integration company with 2 partners, recently split into individual companies, but still working together. We travel around the country implementing software solutions - some that we develop and some that we resell for other companies. I perform many tasks, from research and approval of products for our customers, to products for our company to develop, to project management, to network and infrastructure design, to Internet application design and database management.
For fun, we mostly spend a lot of family time together. We play paintball, video games, are on a parent-child bowling league and just like to hang-out. I hope that continues to last through these crazy teenage years!
Lisa and I really enjoy traveling. Since I travel a lot with my company, I am sometimes able to take the family with me to see fun and interesting places (but all of them aren't that interesting!).
