Sometimes it just pays off big to get to know your local sources of provisions
Day 6, snarling guitar, not really any guitar solos, but one of the worlds greatest guitarists, the rest of the band also rocked. This one was unlike any band I'd ever heard before Gang of Four.
Day 5, inspirational albums of my life... My introduction to Ska
Day 7 of inspiration: This album, along with yesterdays GoF and Tomorrows brought politics into the musical fray. TOP TOP TOP Album!!! And gave me Paul Weller to boot. The Jam, Sound Affects
Day 8. one of the greatest albums ever recorded, These boys could play it all!
Thinking BLTs for dinner
Day 9, this one should have been earlier in my chronological list (for me) Stellar production of near perfect songs. (If not perfect)
Day 10, wasn't a big fan, liked them, but not in my top 10 till I saw this show with Dävis Mcpherson and Brian Smith on Aug. 24 1982. Yes, the famous Big Suit tour. Watch the video sometime and see what makes it work so w
Day 11 (I was nominated twice). Brilliant album, fame was too much for the 17 yr old Songwriting wonder, Nick Heyward
Haircut 100: Pelican West I now nominate Julie Colestock
Day 12 Roundly regarded as Squeeze's grand masterpiece, and I couldn't agree more. The 80's Lennon and McCartney songwriting duo of Difford and Tilbrook ring true once again.
Squeeze: East Side Story
Day 13, but by no means are things diminished here, I own more albums by this band(9) than any other and play them all over and over. Just lovely and came in handy in my dating years too.
Everything but the Girl's eponym
You know you got real deal Thai authenticity when you have a green peppercorn sprig in your food

Day 14, Came out in 82, has perfect ratio of synth and guitar and the rhythm section drive a steady powerful beat. Blew more than one tweeter fuse on this superb album
Simple Minds: New Gold Dream 81,82,83,84
Day 16 Just about the time in my life I had all but shrugged off virtuosity as being a requirement for enjoyable music the local radio station, WHFS plays a song called "The Sheltering Sky" and YANKS me right back in.
King
Day 15 What do you say when one of the greatest bands ever is dissolved by their singer/songwriter and you crave more?
The Style Council, Paul Weller's re-emergence allowed him to take a more soulful direction with his mus
Day 17, since I'm going in chronological order of purchase, I've been waiting since day 1 for this one. Quite possibly my favorite album of all time, takes me back to my youth, not sure why, but the sound of the jangly gui
Day 18, This guy was in a band named Japan which was pretty good, but his solo work is astonishing, his productions top of the class. And, he's collaborated with so many instrumental masters that the sounds are just fantas
Day 19, I was visiting my friend Dävis to do some beer brewing together and while there I notice the music playing contained so many styles and was so varied that I finally commented to him that I was trying to determine t
Day 20, final day. It was 2005, I was a Realtor (Don't ask) and a much younger peer and I were talking and I asked her what she liked to listen to. She handed me a CD, said check this out. Loved it from the start, not a
