Chris's Story
Life
I have lived and worked in the area of Melbourne, Florida for the last 15 years, working for Harris Corp. as a software engineer. Initially I worked on development of software control systems for electric utilities such as Minnesota Power. For the last 10 years or so I have worked on satellite ground control systems used by the Navy, Air Force, NASA, and commercial satellite systems such as Iridium, DigitalGlobe, Telesat, PanAmSat, DirectTv, etc. My wife Michelle ...Expand for more
is a native of the Melbourne area and we went to her 20 year high school reunion last September which was a lot of fun. She works for General Electric as a proposal manager, and was an Army Reserve Intelligence officer thru ROTC who got called to serve in Kuwait twice after 9/11. We have a daughter, Abigail, who is 3.5 years old, and a son, Ryan, 11 months, and we also currently have 3 cats, zero dogs, and a couple of squirrels who are very adept at avoiding the 3 cats.
