Chris's Story

Life Ok, so I had a fun time in the Navy although I was always stationed in remote locations. Once I came to Washington D.C. I really liked it here. Then I met wife Diana when I was visting my parents in California and the rest is history as they say. Diana and I were perfect for each other and she eventually moved to D.C. where we got married in 2002. On Sept 27, 2005 our daughter Isabella was born :) She is great fun and growing fast. College Ok, so here I am at 35 and still working on completing my degree. I am going to George Mason University in Fairfax, VA but will probably be transfering out to a more adult friendly school. Anyway, I am working on a ...Expand for more
degree in Manangement Information Systems. Workplace After I got out of the Navy, I easily transitioned to working for government contractors which are all around D.C. I have worked for Honeywell, Northop Grumman, and currently work for Raytheon as a Test Engineer. I do enjoy what I do and plan to stick with it. It is fun and always challenging. I would like to work for myself someday though, start my own contracting company or something. Military I was in the Navy from 1990-1997, although I never once set foot on a ship. I was stationed in Alaska (brrrr), Diego Garcia (Indian Ocean), and Washington D.C.. D.C. is where I got out and decided to stick around.
