Christopher's Story
Life
In June 1996 Cindy and I got married. We have no kids, just a cat. We are very happy being aunt and uncle to our 3 nieces and one nephew in Winnipeg.
While at Tec Voc I studied broadcasting and one year after high school I started working for CKND TV in Winnipeg. In 1999 I moved to Global TV in Regina and later that same year moved again to Global TV Toronto.
In 2005 I lost part of my eyesight, which forced me out of the TV business. I took the Canadian Securities Course and a few other industry courses and in 2009 I joined TD Waterhouse as an Investment Representative. ng (June 2013) I am still working for the same company but have changed roles to become the School Relations Coordinator.
Recently we bought a townhouse in Calgary and both of us enjoy the easy access to the mountains on weekends.
School
Tec Voc was a great place to go to school- that place had a lot going on. I had great teachers all three years and made some long lasting friendships. Most of my time there centred around the Broadcasting dept. I was a big fan of the school's football and basketball teams, probably from videotaping many of their games. And last but not least, being a part of Company 13 and 14 was a lot of fun. The group worked hard setting up and tearing down in a different school every day, all to put on a great show.
