Chris's Story
Trained as a machinist and welder, I've found that I can make a better living by taking pictures of dust. At the moment, I'm working on the Owens Lake dust mitigation project as a contractor to the city of Los Angeles. I get paid to observe dust - it pays the bills. This job has given me sweet skills in GIS systems, dust photography and soil observation.

for a bit and I've done a short stint as a volunteer at a local wild burro sanctuary. 10+ years in "the OC" has taken it's toll and I have my sights set on Taos or thereabouts in the near future.
Typically I can be found lost in my head, trying to beat back dreams of living in my van, on the road somewhere between here and there. Seriously though, my free time is spent listening to music, watching my dogs have fun or stomping around some interesting backcountry area.
