Chris's Story

Life Graduated from University of Kentucky in 1985 with B.S. in Electrical Engineering. Went to work for Armco Steel in Middletown, Ohio after graduation as an Electrical Engineer. Progressed through a variety of positions to be the lead electrical engineer on a $400 million dollar renovation in steel annealing, galvanization and aluminization processes requiring interface and frequent travel to Japan. learned to practice patent law and passed Federal Patent Exam while employed there, leaving in 1993 to open my own firm in Newport, Kentucky. Briefly worked with Kevin Murphy's corporate law firm in 1998-99, but otherwise have been self employed patent attorney in Newport (40 East 10th Street, Newport, Kentucky 41071, phone (606)261-0012), since 1993. Personally I met my wife, FOX 19 TV News Anchor Tricia Macke in 1989. We got married in 1991 and had our first child, Spencer Christian, on September 13, 2000, and are expecting another in November, 2001.
