Life Hello 1983 Alumni, Are you ready for our 25 year class reunion? It continues to shock me when I hear myself admit that I graduated 25 years ago! Do you know how long 25 years is?? Do you realize that when we graduated, no one knew what email was? Music was saved on cassette tapes. Seatbelts were a nuisance. Music videos were NEW! Our home phones were connected to the wall with a cord! Boy o boy how times have changed! 25 years is a long time, and a lot has changed since we tossed our mortar boards into the air in 1983! Through the years, I have often wondered what my fellow classmates have done with their lives. Did he ever become a famous scientist? Did she make it all the way through college? Did he really get married? I have googled many names with very few results. I am pretty sure that I am not the only classmate with questions like these. That is the reason I am creating a “25 years later” book for our 25th class reunion. I would like to connect with as many 1983 graduates as possible before next summer in order to gather information for the “25 years later” book. The book will have a few different “chapters”. The main chapter will be class mate bios. It will include your 1983 graduation photo, a current photo, and other information (be it silly or serious) that you care to share. I have included ideas below in order to make this as effortless as possible. You are welcome to send any photos from the 80’s or current photos of family, friends, etc. There is no guarantee that all the photos will be included, but I will do my best to provide plenty of information for all to see! This book is intended to reconnect old friends, put a few smiles on your classmates faces and learn what we have all done to keep ourselves busy for the last 25 years.
