Chris's Story
For those that are interested:
After graduating from CVCS I went off to college and then medical school in Cleveland, Ohio. I did my residency training in Youngstown, Ohio. I now specialize in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Currently, I am a partner at Ankle & Foot Associates in Portland, Maine. I am also co-owner of Maine Healing Technologies, LLC which provides/performs Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy, a surgical alternative for tendon/ligament problems in the foot, knees, hips, elbows and shoulders. I also serve on the Medical Executive Committee at Mercy Hospital here in Portland.
Believe it or not, when we moved to Yarmouth, Maine 11 years ago the high school didn't have a football team. 6 years ago I helped co-found the Yarmouth Football Association and currently serve as Vice-president/Director of Football Operations. I coached the Youth team (grades 4-6) for two years and just stepped down as the Junior High Coach after 3 years to become the Offensive Coordinator/Linebacker Coach of the high school...Expand for more
team.
My wife, Paige, and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in December. We have two children, Brittany, who is now a Sophomore at the University of Vermont, and Nathan, who is a Freshman at Yarmouth High School. Brittany is studying nursing and has thoughts of going to medical school. She's quite a skier. Nate excels in Football, Baseball and Track. Two years ago he had the opportunity of playing in the Little League Eastern Regional Tournament and came within one win of making it to the Little League World Series. Last year he won the title as Maine's fastest 13-year-old. He started as a wide receiver/cornerback on the varsity football team last year and will be the starting quarterback next year.
If you've never been to Maine, I encourage you to make the time to do so, it's absolutely beautiful! We always welcome visitors. If you're ever in the area don't hesitate to give us a call. It's too bad we didn't have a 25th reunion, would have been nice to catch up with everyone.
Hope all is well.
