Chris's Story
Well, I guess it would be redundant to say I graduated from Coronado High School or talk about the schools I went to. I am sure that most of you reading this already know that and really do not care to read that I attended a specific school with you when they are listed in "My Communities". I will gladly skip over that portion...
Soon after graduation I enlisted my services with Uncle Sam. Yep, thats right, the man dressed in Red, White and Blue and is pointing at you. I left Lubbock, Texas for the most part for good. I attended Basic and Advanced Training at Fort Leonardwood, Missouri (Oct 1988 thru Feb 1989). For all you military people, it is better known as Fort Lostinthewoods, Misery. After graduation, I was then stationed in Bamberg, Germany. My military career kicked off to a rough start, but quickly settle...Expand for more
d into place. In the fall of 1990 my unit was deployed to Iraq for the liberation of Kuwait and of course I returned back to Germany.
From Germany, I was assigned to Fort Carson. There I served 4 years there, reclassified into Logistics and was selected for Recruiting duty. Yes, I talked people into joining the Army and yes, I was my worse enemy!
From recruiting duty, I went to Korea and then to Fort Hood where I worked for the Assistant Cheif of Staff. At that point, I decided I had worn the uniform enough and got out to work for Dell Computers as an Enginnering Technician.
After the lay-offs and Silicone crash (no not that type of silicone!) I moved to Colorado for several years and then back to Texas.
Currently I am working overseas (Kuwait) and enjoying life to its best.
Got any questions from all that!?!?!
