Christa's Story
i went on to school at U of NC at Greensboro (UNCG), transferred after two years of playing to U of NC at Pembroke (UNCP) and finally graduated in 1992 with a BS in psychology. I went on to East Carolina and got my master's in clinical psychology in 1995. i stayed in Greenville after graduation and went to work as a psychologist until i was forced to leave work on disability in 1998 due to multiple sclerosis. i'm still on disability today, but i went into total remission about 18 months ago so i plan to go off disability next year when i return to school for my PhD.

n the southern outer banks of NC) with my Mom who is also disabled. i'm an adjunct professor at Coastal Carolina Community College in Jacksonville, NC where i teach psychology. this time next year, i hope to be moving to Philadelphia, PA to attend Drexel U's PhD program in clinical psychology.
i never had any kids, but i've got four cats -- that sort of counts, right? actually, i came out while i was in college as a lesbian and never looked back. i'm excited about what the future holds for me and i can't wait to get back to school! i'm planning to attend Southeast's 25th reunion for the class of 1986 next month -- should be a blast. see ya there!
