Christella's Story
I've always had a desire to sing and having been reared in a home, filled with musicians, being a singer was more of a destiny than a choice. Yet, I never really put any real energy into doing so. I always loved singing in the choir...at church and in school. I was voted Choir President, in high school, but regret that I really didn't take that position as seriously as I should have. I also took my eyes off of my first love...music, because I was so entranced with cheerleading. I even forgot that it was music that I wanted to pursue in college and ended up majoring in and receiving a degree in Accounting. I can't complain about that,...Expand for more
though...the field of Accounting has been "Veddy Good" to me, lol! Yet, I have longed to return to that arena of my first love...MUSIC! After college, I began writing song lyrics and received my first copyright, not long, thereafter. That was a high point of my young, adult life. Since then, I've written many and have more copyrights. I have yet to record and publish any of my works...so, that's my next venture! My children are all grown now...ranking in age, from 28 to 19. My three (3) eldest children are very artistic and they all sing and write music. I guess the fruit in my yard has not fallen, far from the tree!! Stay tuned.
