Christina's Story
Life
My husband Fernando and I live in Oxford, CT with our two children, Kyle (born 8/3/04) and Natalie (born 11/8/06.) Our first son was born 12/7/01 with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and passed away when he was about 3 months old. Since then we've been really active raising both awareness and funds for research (there is currently no cure) in his memory.
I am on an extended leave of absence from my job teaching Spanish in Fairfield and loving not commuting. I am working with my husband...Expand for more
, who is a builder, doing all kinds of stuff from designing homes to bookkeeping.
It's a big change from el espanol, but I like the flexibility and being home with the kids.
Summers I run a four week musical theater program for kids in elementary school in Fairfield and put on a full scale production. Kyle and Natalie come with me which makes for a hectic day.
Life in Oxford has changed quite a bit since we moved here 8 years ago... can't wait to see what else is in store for us!
