Christina's Story

Life I'll keep it short, it's almost 0300 and have to be at work tomorrow. (smile), kind of hard for me to go back and remember everything, in fact I kind of don't want to, there's just too much. I'll start with stuff off the top of my head, I miss my family bad! Lol, if there is one thing about leaving home, don't make it hard to go back! lol with that said, I'll just start talking and maybe some of it will come together in a reasonable structure. There are some things I did before leaving home, did an extremely short stint as a Forest Firefighter in 97'-had to be one of the funnest jobs I've ever had in my life! John Cole and John Erhart could tell you about it some time, everyone stuck together it was like a band of brothers, didn't sleep much for 28 days in California, at Yellowstone Natl Park, worked with hundreds of crews from all over to put that fire out, hung out, told stories, laughed at jokes, good honest hard back breaking work-I slept for 3 days straight when I got home, lol. Oh, back to the story, I left home soon after High School, spent the summer in Denali National Park working at a private lodge-Denali Wilderness Lodge, was a beautiful place, there was a small mountain next to the Lodge, spent one of my days off from sunup to sunset getting to the top. Had nothing but granola bars and a mixtape. That is something I will always remember. When I left it was in the Fall, spent some time in Fairbanks staying at friend's places. It was fun, I was pretty much emotionally put together, happy. Even with the craziness of my birth father's death, Then there was the accident. I knew Summer from 5th grade, she was my first friend in a strange place, I don't really want to get into it. The accident was quick, I woke up a week later, some of my memories were gone and needing surgery to fix my face, and she never did wake up. Can't say I was strong about it, I didn't confront my feelings, and didn't accept what happened. Instead I ran. I moved to the lower 48. Went to Kansas City, MO with Ali and partially completed college. It's a little bit longer story from there, (I'll generalize it as much as I can, and leave a bunch of stuff out)lol, lived in the South for a little while near New Orleans, lived in Ohio for a little bit, went back to KC,MO was a over the road truck driver in the lower 48 worked for CRST, met up with new friends and childhood friends- saw many things, visited new york city, chicago, boston, atlanta, (ok ALL over),loved driving my truck through the NV desert. Went to Job Corps in Excelsior Springs, MO and found myself here in Omaha, NE working for Union Pacific now. This place is so conservative too, strange that lots of famous people come from here. Malcom X is from here, you'd know if you came to visit (smile). I've worked alot, been a waitress, a security guard, a cook, a dishwasher, never snubbed my nose at any work. Not the life of a princess, but it's been good. Hard not to go into details I guess lol, hard for me to go back a bit, but it seems like I feel 100 years old already. Right now I've got time to think about things a little, don't feel like I have to keep dropping bombs behind me all the time and blowing up the path behind me, don't know if you feel me on that one lol. But I've had the same boyfriend of 5 years, we are good together, it's a solid relationship, have our ups and downs-not always pretty but we stick it out. His name is Lee. We have 4 cats. Four is alot but they were strays and neither one of us want to split them up. Chewy, Aragorn, Aguilera, and Mystique(aka. Grace Jones). I'm getting back int...Expand for more
o music again, saving up for my plane ticket home for my July vacation, and some turntables. I play violin for fun, and just now getting brave enough to start making my own music, it's good for the soul you know, also getting better at being a music pirate. ARRR lol, limewire rocks. Just taking some time, I need it, and maybe I'll figure out where to go from here. Damit! It's almost 4am! School What a goofy website! Come on I was related to almost everybody! I'm not a lesbian but I could not have gone out with any guys without realizing he's a cousin. Ok, did have a crush on Charlie Woods in 5th grade. But that was over when it started lol, I remember having fun with Summer, Deena, and Divini, I remember basketball trips with Louise, Anjoli Guthrie, Michelle, Eta, Elvina and Stephanie Marks. I remember putting exlax in mr. clark's coffee one day after he was being more creepy than usual. I remember how much I respected Mr. Delay-even though he was a pain in the ass with english-I still have nightmares that he flunked me and I didn't graduate. I remember Mrs. Henning, Mr./Mrs. bowen, mrs. Pocock, and mr. Hugny. When I was really young, I remember the overnight birthday party at my house-was like 14, all us girls had a blast hanging out at our house and the bed n' breakfast right next door-I laughed until my cheeks hurt, we all watched "Clan of the Cave Woman", played ninetendo and exploded Peeps in the microwave.(smile) I remember my first horror movie at Julia and Athena Sweetsir's house, watched Friday the 13th, the one in the junk yard. Then I had to go through their yard with all the cars to get back to my house in the dark. (smile). I remember going over to Anjoli's, I remember Justin being a pain in the ass and still being cool with him, Remember the quiet times too-and I had alot, listened to myself alot, it helped. I remember when I was much older, was in a bad mood, and Eta, Michelle, and Stephanie needed a ride somewhere. Their makeup, hair and clothes was perfect, and i was wearing sweats and my uncle's jacket. So I gave them a ride on my uncle's four wheeler, right through some big mud puddles and a marsh. Still can't believe they laughed their asses off the whole way and when I dropped them off they were covered in mud. (lol) They were good girls, friends, all of us had each other's backs, and we stuck together. Still wonder how everyone's doing these days. That's what I like to remember. (smile) College Unique roommates? I had plenty of those in college, there are some crazy bitches out there let me tell you! Had a crazy roommate named Talila-from a village in alaska somewhere, that witch tried to beat up Ali for putting a dish in the sink while I was at work, had to kick her out. Then later when I had roommates again, had another crazy roommate named Nyree, a alcoholic vegetarian, she was crazy, when I had guy friend's over she'd try to walk around our place naked. She ended up stealing my car and leaving me and my best friend at a rave in the industrial part of KC,MO, had to kick her out too. Had some good luck, my best friend Karlisha lived with me for a while, and a Canadian chick named Andrea. We lived on Independence Ave. in kansas city. It's a strip where hooker's meet johns lol, Andrea wouldn't admit she was living in a bad part of town, and kept saying how nice everyone was, because all these hooker's were waving at her, and at every light one of them would try to run up and knock on the window-finally got her to admit one time, because a police man was arresting a hooker on our lawn lol. Still funny but what can you say?
