Christina's Story
I live in Odessa, Texas. I enjoy living here and I am close to family. I am married and it will be 24 years this year (June 2014). We unfortunately never had any children, but don't plan to have them now. We have lived in the same house for about 20 years and still have a lot we want to do to it. We enjoy our backyard the most, especially the spring and summer months when every thing blooms and we can get out there for relaxation and barbeques. I am currently working for Manor Park, Inc. It is a retirement community for residents that range from independent living homes to assisted living and nursing home. I do Medicare (and more) billing for the nursing area for skilled nursing care (SNF). It has been an amazing learning experience. We also have 2 new homes for our nursing care residents that have turned out absolutely beautiful. stitution. I really like how they turned out and hope our residents love living there.
In Aug 2007, my Mom passed away from severe COPD and that has been very hard for me. She lived here in Odessa and we talked almost everyday. We were very close and I could talk to her about anything. I miss her so much. My sister is here in Odessa and we stay in touch almost everyday now. She has two beautiful girls and we love having our "girls night out". My dad, brother and his family live in Hobbs, NM. We enjoy family gatherings every chance we get.
I have kept in touch with Liane (Gentry) and we are still very close/best friends. That has been very special to me.
I have been in touch with Angel (Fenske) from Timberon and Amy (Carson) from Hobbs (elementary). I was very excited to contact Amy through MySpace and to find that she lives only about 1 hour from me. Unfortunately, we have yet to meet against, but i do hope it will happen soon.
