Christina's Story
Life
I was born in Manchester, CT, lived in Methuen, MA for 11 years and in NH for 5. I eventually made my way down south and am currently living in Huntsville, AL with my husband and son Brian, who is now 18 years old and has just been published for a poem he wrote and submitted. He received editor's choice and was published on the first page of the book.
I have been living in the south since 1991, and actually like it down here. Met hubby in 1992 and we married on April Fool's Day, 1994 (we did that so if the marriage did not work out we could tell everyone it was a joke- I think it is a little late for that now).
Graduated from law school in 2002 and I have my own law practice in Huntsville as well. Brian wants to follow in mom's foot steps and also go to law school. Yay. (I have to be excited for the moment- I am sure he will change his mind nu...Expand for more
merous times and eventually become the lobbiest who opposes lawyers before his school career is over.)
No other children, Brian is my one and only (spoiled rotten too).
So, our home is fairly quiet (except for the pitter patter of teenage feet in the kitchen eating all food in sight). There are just the three of us and our pets, which include three cats and three dogs. The dogs include a lab mix named Navin (from Steve Martin's character in "The Jerk"), a Huskey named Akela and a Chihuahua named Radar. All of my dogs are very active and full of energy, which is the complete opposite of the three lazy cats: Harley, Gizmo and Gadget. Harley is the mom of the other two.
Brian graduates from HS this coming spring (May 2008). Then he is off to college. Shortly thereafter, we will see his name on here looking for his former classmates and friends.
