Christina's Story
Life
After high school I joined the Navy in 1990. Spent the whole time on the east coast and overseas. Married in 1994, had three children (boys), divorced in 2004, remarried and separated from the Navy in 2006. Had another boy and lived in Italy for 3 years before coming back stateside. Settle in Hampton Roads, Virginia. Graduated from the Art Institute of Virginia Beach in 2015 with a BFA in Graphic Design and working at a printing company. Divorced again in 2017.

Military
I spent 16 1/2 years in the Navy. Unfortunately, I don't "fit" the numbers when it comes to height/weight and body fat. After having 3 children I could still pass all of the physical readiness tests, sit-ups/push-ups/ 1.5 mile run. Not one bad mark on my entire career but I was involuntarily separated from service this past August.
All I wanted was to do my 20 years and retire. Life outside of the Navy family is sooo different. I definitely miss it. I try to remember "everything happens for a reason", I just don't know what that reason is right now...
