Christine's Story

After graduating from Bristol Eastern, I went to Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where I earned a BA in English. I moved to Manhattan after graduation, where I planned on attending law school (and am SO GLAD I didn't!). I ended up as Manager of Recruitment for Cravath Swaine & Moore, a law firm; I coorinated their summer associate program, their on campus recruitment program and special events (which was fun, until I had kids!) I married my husband, Mark, in 1997. We have two children, Sam (8) and Liz (5). We lived in Paris, France from 2002 - 2007, which was a wonderful experience, and where I returned to University to study the French language. We have recently moved back to the United States, and decided to hang our hats in Montclair, New Jersey. Suburban living has been fun, but I have forgotten what a pain shovelling the walk is... Both of my children will be in school full time next year (3rd grade and kindergart...Expand for more
en), so I am contemplating my next steps... We have a 9 month old puppy named Pooch! She's a dachshund and so much smaller than Larry. Remember that red beast of a canine? I still enjoy sports, reading and writing. My sisters and I are also working on our genealogy as a gift for my parents' impending 50th wedding anniversary. This has turned out to be quite a task, but what a tool the internet has proved to be! I understand planning has begun for our 20th reunion, which makes me literally choke... I still feel 18 in many ways! I imagine all you do too... I still keep up with Kathy Ferrier and Clark Hare, of course! I was fortunate to attend Kath's induction into the Bristol sports hall of fame, which was a real trip down amnesia lane. Coach Floyd looks no different. Wonder what he takes for that???
