Christine's Story
Life
Hey Guys,
01/13/2009
Remember me Chris from Union Ave Elementary and then Frank H Morrell - Irvington High Class of 1976...Gosh can it really be 33 years ago that we graduated...Richie Falconi (my husband) and I have kept in touch with a few friends, Michael Ficula, Pauline Allen (both from Union Avenue School) and Charlene English from High School...All great friends and we are so lucky to have each other...We are in the real estate business with Mike and have been for 25 years...Each of us work full time in addition to our business...I am an Administrative Manager for a family owned Real Estate Management Company and just love my position...I worked for the company right after high school, then temporarily retired for 13 years to raise our 3 children, Nicole who is 29 married and purchased a house directly adjacent to our home (we are so happy)...She meet her husband Joe in college at Bloomsburg University where they were both Education Majors...They graduated with their masters degree and believe it or not they both were hired in Rockaway High School and were married this past July 2006...Our son Joseph is 29 and graduated Montclair University with a degree in Business and History and currently works and lives in Jersey City, and is still enjoying the single life...Daniell...Expand for more
e our 23 year old is following in her sisters step also an Education Major in Bloomsburg graduated and is now working in Parsippany Hills High School...All wonderful children ! Richie and I have been married for 30 years but have know each other since 1972, 37 years; gosh that makes us sound old...LOL... We live in Hopatcong and have for the past 29 years...We have enjoyed a fun, busy and interesting life...Our newest endeavor is a summer home with purchased with Mike in 2004 where else but Long Beach Island, NJ...A dream we have shared worked for, for the 20 years...We enjoy the house tremendously; the water and all the water toys with our families...One thing that saddens me is that we have lost touch with so many class mates over the years and we really don't have any mutual connection as everyone has moved out of the area...Part of my position at work is a Marketing Director and I know just how much work and planning goes into an event and was thinking if a re-union was not possible a less formal gathering this summer would be wonderful...Not just with our graduating friends but the families also...Looking forward to hearing from some long lost friends...Cheers to the New Year, good health, happiness and peace to one and all...
Fondest Regards Christine Falconi (Capriglione)
