Christine's Story
Life
Married and divorced four times, no kids, but have a wonderful man and am very happy. You can find me at ladypoet57 at the mail that isn't cold. ;-)
I started in administrative support in 1976 and made a 37-year career of it, until I became disabled in 2013. I've done everything from reception to bookkeeping to office/team manager. Just graduated from Gateway Tech with several accounting certificates, and they will serve me well in our new masonry business.
As some may remember, I've written poetry and romance since 1970, have published four poetry books (with a fifth in the works) and my first full-length romance novel, with at least two more books in my head waiting to be written. I've been published in CATS Magazine, and in 2014, in the anthology "why am i here?" by Venture Ink Publishing. My books are available on Amazon. The romance is called Homecoming, and if you search for books by Christine Cox, you'll find the four poetry chapbooks.

phy has earned local awards, and I'm now marketing it as well as the poetry books at art & craft shows.
Instead of kids, I had cats. Went into the purebred cat fancy in 1977, breeding and showing Siamese and Oriental Shorthair cats, and working toward my judgeship in ACFA. Also raised purebred Dachshunds for a few years and owned some gorgeous part-Arab horses, but when my mare died in foaling in 1985, I lost heart and retired from all breeding and the show circuits. My last Siamese, the 18-year-old feline love of my life, took a huge part of my heart with him when he succumbed to renal failure in 1997. I am now owned by six beautiful Heinz 57 kitties, including two rescued strays and a polydactyl. Just lost one of my five, my favorite boy Toelouse, the polydactyl father of my Antoenio.
There are several people I associated with at West that I owe apologies (or at the very least explanations) to for issues of the past. If you knew me in school, drop me a note and say hi. You never know what I might have to say to you.
