Christine's Story
I still live here on the island! I've been teaching for 11 years now and currently teach first grade. I'm in the oldest part of the building in which some of you may remember my classroon as Mr Eversole's science room. the one cupboard! Try as I might, I can't get it off, so I just cover it with a poster on the vowel sounds.
I've got two daughters ages 13 and nearly 10. Things are good here. People still ice fish in the winter and shop at the Island General store. I still get island fever in the off-season, but keep busy teaching and raising my daughters!
