Christine's Story
Since graduating in ‘77 I got married and divorced by 22 yrs old🙄 I worked one year up at Kirkwood ski resort which was a lot of fun! Then moved back to the Bay Area and worked at El Toritos, LTS- Leisure Travel Service and a health food store as well as taking some classes at DVC, before moving to Kauai by myself in 1985 with 3 suitcases and no future prospects, But I also knew it was where I was meant to be . I didn’t know. Well, it’s been 38 years and have been here ever since! I remarried in 1987 after meeting my husband here in 1986. We have 3 wonderful children-1 son and 2 daughters, and 2 grandchildren who I adore and are such a joy and blessing!
Been learning Italian the past 3 years- I’m enjoying it, but it’s a challenge! At least when I make it back to Italy I’ll be able to say a few things- hopefully more! Ciao and aloha!
