Christine's Story
Life
My life after high school in a nutshell: Started college at Warren Wilson (a tiny liberal arts school in the Blue Ridge Mtns. of North Carolina) but didn't have much focus with all the hippies confusing me. Took a year off and worked at a bakery, then went back to school and transfered to UNC-Asheville as a Mass Communications major. Quit that business and did some travelling around Europe and moved to Seattle, Washington to live with my (then) boyfriend, Alex. We got married in August, 1999 and bought a house in the city, but in the reverse order. For a time, I worked at AT&T Wireless doing HR with a bunch of nasty backstabbin...Expand for more
g women that I hated. I am not a 9 to 5, skirt and pantyhose wearing kind of girl. I wanted to have a no-stress, non-office job with and a creative outlet. I've been working at an independent nursery (plants not babies) where I do design consultations. When I'm not at work, I like to travel quite a bit. My favorite destinations so far: New Zealand, the Cook Islands, Barcelona, and anywhere along the Riviera Maya, and Prague. I've got two cats, Maji and Mr. Wiggles but no "human" children. I read a lot, spend too much time on the internet, and still go to indie concerts when I can. I'd love to hear from any old friends so email me!
