Life
I graduated from Murray-Wright High School in June of 1981 and by November of the same year I had joined the US Army as a Food Service Specialist. My first duty station was Ft. Bragg North Carolina; home of the 82nd Airborne. I spent fifteen of the twenty two years in the military at FT. Bragg NC. I became a Jump Master in the 82nd Airborne Division and have over one hundred jumps from Air Planes and Helicopters. I got married to a ex-service memeber(1986), and we have three beautiful kids, two boys and one girl.
I retired from the US Army as a Master Sergeant w/ 22 years of military service...Expand for more
. After retirement, I went to work overseas in Iraq, with Hallibuton(KBR) as a Food Service Manager. I deployed into Iraq October 2003, working as a goverment contractor, feeding soliders from all branches of the miltary. All the experience I gained from the military, prepared me for combat operations in Iraq. There were daily attacks on the US Military Camps: mortar fire, gun battles, snipers, and Improvised Explosion Devices (IED's). I spent over 4 years working in the Middle East, feeding and mentoring young soliders. I am always looking for a challenge and who knows where I will be working next.
