Christopher's Story
Life
After high school, I kinda just drifted for awhile. I did not know what exactly I wanted to do. I took a few classes at CFCC, but I never really wanted to go. I spent a few years doing computer repair work around Ocala, when I realized one day if I didn't do something soon, I would be trapped there. I left Ocala , and move to Tallahassee in 98. I roomed with Ken Seymore (class of 96) for a few years (Until he got married), and started to get my life back in order. Struggling with bad grades (I REALLY hated CFCC and High School) I went to TCC, got my AA, and went on to FSU. I got my degree in Information Studies in 2003, and started Grad School in 2004. I worked a few jobs, from two ill fated dot coms, to a high paying consulting job, to right now working at the University. I recently gave up consulting to settle down and have a family, as I was on the road alot...Expand for more
. I also met my future wife while at FSU, and will be married in May 2005. My family still lives in Ocala, so I go back for some holidays. Have no kids, and one dog, a Shiba Inu mix, a rescue from when I did some consulting work for the city. Other then that, not much else...
UPDATE*
Its another update, Ive been married 2 years in May, and I am expecting the birth of my first child, a girl, in May as well. I am 3 weeks from my Master's Degree in Information Studies, with a concentration in Information Technology Management, and was promoted last fall to senior management as Assistant Director of Applications. The promotion will allow my wife to stay home (her choice) so it was something very exciting for us. Well, if you want to know anything else, let me know. I work in the technology field, so I unfortunately am chained to a computer pretty much 24 hours a day...
