Christopher's Story
I got a request to tell my story. Well, I always wanted to be a writer so maybe this would be a good place to start. (I wonder how much room I have? Presently, I am a lowly Gold Member - perhaps if go Platinum I will have the space to finish "all this David Copperfield kind of crap", as J.D. Salinger put it.)
Speaking of David Copperfield, we were assigned to read it Junior year in Mr. Bosshardt's English class. Most of you don't know it but I was a terrible student. I never showed up, or showed up late and got on the "Absent List" and then cut classes at will for the remainder of the day. Consequently, most of you don't...Expand for more
even know me. I told my friend Robin Kirchoff that when I go to the reunion this year it will be more like "Nice to meet you" rather that "Nice to see you again, you look great." Any way I picked up David Copperfield and loved it. I finished it in a couple of days and began looking forward to Bosshardt's class. I coulnd't help raising my hand, answering questions and joining in the discussion.(remember kids that would stretch out their hands and "ooh, ooh, ooh" so that the teacher would call on them? Well, I didn't go that far.)
