Christopher's Story
After leaving grade 8 I went to Highland Junior High for grade 9 then over to Thornlea secondary in Thornhill, On. At 16 I completed basic training in the Royal Navy. After training I declined a Royal Navy career to return to Canada where I resumed high school.
I joined the Canadian Forces as a reservist (Navy) at 17 which I continued till age 21, my final position in the CF was Military Police.
Around age 21 I graduated with Hons from Law Enforcement at community college.
I bounced around for a year or so doing different jobs in IT, pc repair, c...Expand for more
ourt agent and finally Municipal law Enforcement in different municipalities around the GTA.
I have been a MLEO Provincial Offences officer part time for just on 30 years.
The career I chose for full time is fire alarms and electronic security basically life safety.
Post grade 8 I have graduated high school, college three times and a host of factory training and certifications.
I Survived cancer twice which I couldn’t have done with out the loving support of my wife of 20 years and my 18 year old son both of whom are the lives of my life.
