Life
What a long, strange journey it's been. The nutshell... I wound up in the Army. Kind of reminds me of a Life in Hell cartoon once where the rabbit has a helmet on and the thought bubble reads, "What was I thinking?" Really, I wouldn't change a thing. If I had to do it all over again, about the only thing I'd really do is go ahead and try the Special Forces thing. I regret that and never getting my Airborne qualification when I had the chance. I got to live in some neat places, Western Washington, Hawaii, I got to visit Asia and had a really great time and met some wonder...Expand for more
ful people. After I got out (longer story, involves Doctors, Lawyers, but no Indian Chiefs), I went back to Western Washington, lived in the Seattle area, worked full-time to pay the bills and part time teaching skiing. I married someone from High School. We later got divorced, but we still get along ok. We just were never meant to live together. A couple of years ago, I moved to Texas, bought a house, adopted the coolest dog ever (your dog is nowhere near as cool, even if he fetches you beers), and life is pretty good. Like I said, that's the Reader's Digest Condensed version.
