Dr. Christopher's Story
I have had a great ride in life....enjoyed every bit of it.. served my country, .traveled the world. I got lost a few times. I hope you all are having a great time as well. It's been along time since we talked together.
Every now and then, I think back on what I have done and all the friends that I made to wonder what you 'all are doing. I hope you all are doing great as well.
I have finally retired from the US Marines. Can you all believe that? 25 years went fast....way to fast. Recently, I also retired from civil service, owned my business for a while, and now teaching full time at a college prep school. They are great kids and I enjoy every day.
I teach advanced science classes (My first passion), engineering, and business classes for middle school. Now, I get to relive my childhood and play in the lab everyday. Also, after graduating from Northcentral University with a PhD in Business, I also get to teach part-time at numerous universities and colleges in North Texas in their leadership/management department. Teaching a wide variety of classes gives me such a unique view of the world life. What fun is this?
What an adventure this has been - doing something I love - teaching. I get paid to make messes and talk, what a country. Would you all believe that I would be a teacher - and enjoy it?

On a very personal note: I am still happily married to my best friend - the former Teresa Kellogg. We went to school together at Mark Twain and Madison.
Teresa and I are doing well...so are the kids (6) and grandkids (15)....me a grandfather....who would figure?

School
I have many people to thank for helping me achieve the success I gained though the decades. For Mrs. Craig (Mark Twain Elementry School)- you saved me from a learning disablity that could have wrecked and ruined my life. I have helped me acheive mmy utimate terminal degree...It all started with you. Thank you, with all my heart. You are the greatest teacher that I have ever meet and the primary reason I teach people today.
For all the other people that made a difference in my life, Coach Brinkman, Mr. Morris, Mr Swing, Ms Davis and the rest, thank you as well - you all have my gratitude and thanks. Although my writing still needs improving...I am still trying to learn something everyday.
And for all the people I interacted with, thank you for being my friends there. And I esp want to thank - Curtis, Paul, Fred, Rex, Rick and Dave and ...Expand for more
so many others for hanging out and being my friend there in school. For the great friends I dated and hung out with, thank you as well - You made school bearible and even enjoyable.
Once again, thanks for being there and sharing your life with me - it was great. I am still not use to not having the school downtown, but I still visit it every chance I get when I go home. It has so many wonderful memories. Thank you all.
College
College was always been a great and interesting place. I enjoyed Cameron, OCU and Northcentral University - thank you for helping me achieve the success that I have acheived. I defended my dissertation on April 15th, and now been awarded my Ph.D. after a ten year quest. Thank you everyone who helped me complete this research. Thanks again.
Workplace
I haven't worked in years (since high school) - I have enjoyed every thing that I have done. Esp now - teaching. I work for a leadership development program helping people learn how to lead or manage (supervise) other people. When you are having fun at your job, your not working - your playing. And, I play every day. :-)
Military
I had many great privlege and honor to serve with so many excellent Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines. I can not thank you all - it would take decades.
The many assignments within the US Marines were great. Some places were horible, but the men and women that served with me, made it a great place. Thank you for your service, your honor and your time you shared with me. I will never forget you and what you did there!
I was in every Marine Artillery Regiment the Marines have and some of the very best Army Units working with great people. It was a hell of a trip, and we made it back time after time again. Thanks.
The most important places that I served - were usually on the places always in news - at one time or another....Most of you remember those places as well. For the ones that were with me and took care of me - You have my thanks and eternal gratitude. It was my honor to be with you during those times with you as well. For the ones still there - you have my prayers. I wish you God speed. Pleas elet me know where you are at, and I'll try to help you now.
Keep your powder dry, your ears open and your eyes focused ...also, something I learned, don't have anyone more braver than you are in your fox hole with you. And try to remember, your weapon was made by the lowest bidder......
