Update: 2007
Now have two kids, ages 3 and 4. Sophia is adopted from Shantou, China, and joined our family June, 2004. Two days after we arrived home from China, my wife gave birth to our son, Colin. June was an intense month!
How to cram 20 years into one paragraph:
- Went to Univ. of Colorado, graduated with BA in Econ in 1988 (hey, I liked skiing).
- Moved to San Francisco, worked at a bank for 4+ years. Snowboard in Tahoe every winter. The early 20's were good.
- Moved to Taiwan for a year, started studying Chinese...Expand for more

- Went to graduate school for MBA at Thunderbird - AGSIM, kept up the Chinese, studied like hell.
- Back to SF to work for startup, company went belly-up in 10 months, but had fun doing it.
- Start to work for CAD software company, get to bring my dog to work, realize that I haven't had to wear a suit since 1992. I like this. Got my CFA credential. Live in a log cabin with girlfriend. Learn to hang glide.
- Girlfriend turns into wife, parents nearly faint with shock. Buy house.
How did those 20 years go so quickly?
