Christopher's Story
Hello Walton and all who may remember me after nearly 30 years. After I graduated, I attended SUNY Plattsburgh for three years of fun and the valuable life lessons. Following about a year of moving from place (Lake Worth, Florida; Detroit, Michigan and finally Chicago, Illinois)These lessons allowed me to do very well at Illinois Institute of Technology Research Technology as a Bio-Research Experimentalist (fancy way to say Technician after 9 years of experience) I worked in a dedicated lab for Amoco running tests on all new chemicals. I went to Illinois Institute of Technology in the evenings and weekends. Research money began drying up, Amoco closed the lab and many were laid-off. I also ran a half route of the major accounts. If you know Chicago, I worked fancy shopping (Watertower Place, 900 N. Michigan (Nordstrom and restaurants in both), Sears Tower, Hancock Building, Montgomery Wards (5 buildings), Merchandise Mart, Chicago Stadium, etc. It was facinating to see what goes on behind the scenes. I also have seen some of the most nasty infestations, some most could not imagine. I then moved on to become a warehouse supervisor/ building maintenance for the company that marketed the "Carleton Sheets "No Down Payment Real Estate and Wealth Building Course". It was the first 30 minute infomercial. I am now semi-retired and living on the island of Maui. I hope all of you have had an interesting life and are happy and doing well. Aloha Chris
