Christopher's Story
Life
Moved from A-burg to Augusta Ga. finished High School at Glenn Hills High, Then went to college at the Univ. Of South Carolina. Graduated from there with a degree in Business Administration, and Marketing. Went into retail mgmt at Lady Footloocker. Left there and moved to Jacksonville Fl. Worked for Bellsouth setting up cell phones back in '95 when cell phones were hard to get. At night I worked at UPS as an unloader. The Bellsouth job was in a Target store and Target wanted me to work for them as an Assets Protection Specialist (I caught shoplifters). That was fun, but I missed home. oe dept. and the Golf & Tennis dept. I decided to change careers and go into sales. In '99 I started working for Comcast Cable as an advertising sales person.I sold commercial time on the cable system, and designed marketing plans. Was there for 3 years, then Clear Channel Radio made an offer to come work for them doing the same thing. I worked for Clear Channel for 5 yrs. The last 2 yrs I was working the Columbia SC market. I was hired by WJBF Channel 6 in '08 as a Marketing Consultant for our advertisers.
I married Omaida back in 2003. We have 4 boys (one together and 3 from her previous marriage). We spend alot of time volunteering with our Church and coaching youth sports at the Family Y.
